The world of home automation, system integration, and smart homes is getting ready to meet at Fiera Milano for the fifth edition of Smart Building Expo (November 19–21, 2025).
In this key exhibition dedicated to smart building technologies, innovation, and automation, Master confirms its leading role by showcasing the new PIXIA electrical series and demonstrating its seamless integration with the UNA Automation home automation system.
A major international event
Smart Building Expo takes place within the broader MIBA (Milan International Building Alliance) format, which brings together events such as MADE, SICUREZZA, and GEE, offering a comprehensive overview of future building solutions.
The 2025 edition presents an expanded offering: educational sessions, thematic hubs, and a growing focus on the challenges of the energy transition, electrification, and building efficiency.
In particular, the “Renewables District” will be a dedicated exhibition and discussion area focused on urban energy technologies, energy communities, and smart infrastructure.
This setting provides the ideal backdrop for Master’s participation — an opportunity to show how a brand traditionally known for civil and electrical systems can now deliver deeply integrated solutions for home automation and smart building environments.
PIXIA: the “ultra-flat” series with a smart home soul
On its official website, Master highlights the launch of PIXIA, described as a range of ultra-flat electrical devices natively designed for smart home integration.
This definition already anticipates some of the key features the company will present at the expo:
Slim and discreet design: the “ultra-flat” finish is designed to blend seamlessly into residential and professional environments without compromising interior aesthetics.
Native smart home integration: PIXIA is not just a stylish casing — it’s built to naturally interact with smart environments and automation systems.
Versatile functionality: the series includes standard electrical components (switches, sockets, keypads, light/scene controls, motor commands, etc.) developed with interoperability and scalability for smart scenarios in mind.
In short, PIXIA represents Master’s vision of how electrical devices should evolve within the smart home context: refined aesthetics, intelligent functionality, and compatibility with broader automation systems.
UNA Automation: the smart home core that connects with PIXIA
Master’s strength at Smart Building Expo lies in the fact that PIXIA is not presented as a standalone product, but as an integral part of the UNA Automation system — a platform promoted as the central hub for smart homes and integrated buildings.
Although a full official press release with detailed technical specifications has not yet been made available, several elements are already clear:
Interoperability and centralized control: PIXIA devices will be presented as native components of the UNA system, capable of being controlled, monitored, and coordinated through a single platform that manages lighting, scenarios, climate control, sensors, and automation.
Hardware-software synergy: PIXIA is not just a stylish “front end,” but a set of intelligent terminals that interact with control, automation, and adjustment logic.
Competitive added value: the PIXIA + UNA combination allows Master to position itself not merely as a supplier of electrical materials, but as a brand capable of offering a complete, end-to-end solution for installers, integrators, and designers.
At the event, Master is expected to demonstrate how PIXIA — when configured and connected to UNA — can be deployed in real-world applications: residential homes, commercial buildings, hotels, advanced housing complexes, and business facilities, with integrated automation, energy management, and smart infrastructure scenarios.
Major highlights at Master’s stand
Here are some of the key features of Master’s presence at Smart Building Expo:
