The Maxxim hotel & loft was born within the oldest and most noble Este heritage, the Beccari – Freguglia palace, which belonged to the Conti since the 15th century. After the renovation, which was completed in 2018, modern travelers can stay in a blend of history and comfort through an interweaving of characteristic details of the late Renaissance and the addition of “modern” comforts. Taking a tour of the rooms and common areas you can still admire columns, ancient exposed brick walls that date back to the first building nucleus, and the original wooden beams.
